Mansfield Texas does not have a large body of water in the city. What Mansfield does offer are private community lakes and the city does border both Mira Lagos and Grand Peninsula. Both of these neighborhoods border Lake Joe Pool and provide an alternative to a lake area community that goes to Mansfield ISD schools.

Mansfield does have quite a few homes that come on the market during the year with ponds and streams on the homesites.
