Mansfield ISD year in and year out is rated in the top 10% in the state of Texas for test scores and overall performance. The Mansfield school district has 45 schools, with the current student enrol-lees at about 38,000 plus a year and growing at a steady pace. There are currently 5 High Schools,  9 middle schools(Grades 7 and 8), 6 intermediate schools (Grades 5 and 6) and 23 Elementary schools. The school system has over 3,500 teachers and staff to that are truly focused on providing your child with the best education experience possible. The Mansfield I.S.D. receives excellent ratings on the state standardized testing scores. All subjects met or exceeded the state averages. The district has received an impressive seven out of ten rating from GreatSchool rating system. This translates into excellence in the curriculum, teacher involvement, student involvement and parent satisfaction.  All of these areas receive above average feedback. The mission statement at Mansfield ISD is dedicated to ensuring that every student in the district gets an outstanding education. This objective is emphasized by the recent employee satisfaction surveys given yearly to the teachers and support staff. The great majority of the staff members enjoyed their roll in the school district and the way the Mansfield I.S.D. treats them as a group. This positive attitude and satisfaction translates to a better education for students.

The Mansfield ISD athletics programs are outstanding and send many students on to scholarship educations at major universities across the United States. The counseling staff is unmatched in regards to student accessibility and the parents having complete access to your child's academic progress and goals. Mansfield ISD offers numerous extracurricular activities for their students. They offer all varieties of sports programs, to include, football, baseball, basketball, swimming,volleyball and more. In addition, they have an extensive Arts and Language Arts program, which include music, band, foreign languages, debate, and painting or drawing.

Mansfield TX ISD School Boundaries and Homes in Arlington

Mansfield ISD does cross the borders into Arlington Texas.The school district boudaries stretch North of Green Oaks, East of HWY 360 and West of Highway 287. Homes in these areas are a little less expensive than Mansfield proper. The homes range in year built from the early 1980s to on or around 2013. The homes in these areas have a tendency to run smaller.

Mansfield ISD does cross the borders into Grand Prairie Texas.The school district boudaries stretch just South of Camp Wisdom, West of HWY 360 and East of Highway Lakeridge Parkway. Homes in these areas are generally newer construction and a little less expensive than Mansfield proper however not by much. The homes range in year built from the late 1990s to new consruction. The homes in these areas have a tendency to run a liitle larger.

Mansfield ISD Enrollment Policy

Enrollment for your student(s) takes place at the campus of assignment. Your campus of assignment is determined by the parent’s or legal guardian’s permanent place of residency.

If you are unable to provide sufficient proof of residency because you are currently living with someone who is the actual MISD resident and there is no electric, gas, water bill or lease agreement in your name, the MISD resident will need to complete an Affidavit for Proof of Residency (Español) stating that you live in his/her home. This form is available at the link above, your campus and at the Department of Student Services. Submit the completed affidavit with all other enrollment documents at the campus of assignment. Upon approval at the campus level, you will be allowed to proceed with the enrollment process.

Families who are in the process of building a home and who are not in possession of the home by the first day of school must take their sales contract and a letter on letterhead stationary from their builder specifying a move-in/completion date to Student Services. For the student to be eligible to enroll in MISD, the home must be completed and the family must reside in the home by the 45th day of school. These items will need to be presented to the Director of Campus Support for verification. Upon approval at the district level, you will be allowed to proceed with the enrollment process at the campus.
Within 30 days of closing date for a newly built or purchased home, satisfactory proof of residence in the form of water, gas or electric bill addressed to the student’s parent at the new address must be provided to the campus. Students will be withdrawn if proof of residence is not provided within 30 days of the closing date listed on the sales contract/letter from builder. For further assistance contact the Department of Student Services or an administrator at your campus of assignment.
