Alliance Skate Park at Grand Prairie:

This is a competitive skate park. To experience an ultra, first class skate park, this is the right place for you. This park is reserved for in-line skating, skateboarding, and biking. The total amount spent on this skate park was $1.2 million dollars! It is an outdoor as well as indoor skate park. It is located on the grounds of the Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie. It has different levels of courses. It has beginner, intermediate, and advanced courses to choose from. It also has an acclaimed world class Vert ramp.

They hold contests for prizes and offer memberships. Memberships for Grand Prairie Residents cost $15.00 and $30.00 for non-residents. Non-member residents of Grand Prairie pay $7.00, non-member non-residents pay $8.00. It is located next door to Grand Prairie's Lone Star Horse Racing Park.

Lone Star Park:

This park is a world-class thoroughbred horse racing park. They have different tracks and a seven-level grandstand for seating. It is in a grass enclosed, climate controlled building. The park also offers penthouse suites, terraced track side dining room, box seats, as well as outdoor seating. There is also a state-of-the-art Post time pavilion. This includes a sports bar and restaurant. The Post time pavilion has over 150 televisions for your sports viewing needs. You can see live horse racing from the top tracks around the world. Splash Factory: 

The splash factory is located in Grand Prairie's Charley Taylor Recreation Center. This area is toddler friend and features nature and water gun play areas. It has many means of water entertainment and fun. The Splash factory has ground sprays, water falls, fountains, a magic touch water gun, magic mist, and a spraying cannon. This park is mainly recommended for the amusement of toddlers and young teens. Splash Factory is closed till memorial day. There is a $1.00 fee to get in and have a whole day's fun!
 

Trader's Village:

Trader's Village is also known as 'The Famous Texas Flea Market'. The flea market has more than 3,000 vendors selling things every Saturday and Sunday. Trader's village is open year round to the public. Trader's village has more than 3.5 million visitors a year! Trader's village is a 125 acre site and offers kid's rides, arcade games, and several festival foods. Trader's village has special events throughout the entire year.
 
There is also a Trader's village in Houston. Trader's village has everything from hand-made crafts to one-of-a-kind items. There is always something happening at Trader's village. There are festivals and special events such as pow wows, cook offs, cajun festivals, swap meets, and many other events. There are a variety of specialty restaurants serving everything from Texas-size burgers and roasted corn-on-the-cob to made to order Thai food and turkey legs. Trader's village is the perfect place for bargain hunters with free enterprise at it's finest!

AirHogs:

This minor league baseball stadium is scheduled to open in May 2008. This baseball stadium has attractions such as a kids play area as well as restaurants. The stadium seats 6,000 spectators in addition to 13 luxury suites. The team will host 48 games beginning in May through August. The team is a member of the American Association of Professional Baseball. This facility will offer concerts, festivals, as well as rodeos. Six Flags also includes the Six Flags Hurricane Harbor. Hurricane Harbor is on Lamar Boulevard. Hurricane harbor has the tallest, craziest water rides in Texas! Hours vary for Hurricane Harbor between May and September. Hours vary for Six Flags over Texas between March and December and are subject to change. A trip to Six Flags over Texas or Six Flags Hurricane Harbor is usually $25.00 and over.
