Game Day Bar & Grill:
The Game Day Bar & Grill located in Mansfield, TX is the perfect place to go unwind and have a good time. They have great food and a complete menu including steads, soups, salads, and gourmet hamburgers. They have poker nights on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights. These games are at 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. There is no buy in at poker nights. You can win cash and prizes on poker nights. If you have the talent, there is also a chance to win a seat at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas! They also have a cigar bar including various types of cigars. Personal lock boxes can be reserved. The cigar bar has accommodating, comfortable leather sofas and chairs.
Ladies nights are on Thursday nights starting at 7:00 p.m. They have fabulous drink specials for all the ladies. Happy hour is Monday through Thursday, 3:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. During happy hour there is a special of $1.00 off all drinks! They have 75 different available beers, 36 of them being on tap. Game Day Bar & Grill closes whenever it chooses to. It opens Monday through Thursday at 3:00 p.m. Friday through Sunday it opens at 11:00 a.m. This establishment is located in the Mansfield Town Center.
Hit & Run Paintball Park:
A whole fun day of play is $25.00 to $40.00. These fees include field fees, painballs, and equipment rental. However, how much you spend depends on your style of paintballing. You can call in advance and reserve a field for a group or there are also walk-on games. The people who show up are divided onto two teams. They try to weigh the teams with equal strength. Beginners at paintballing are recommended to call ahead of time to have a representative give an overview of paintballing as well as a walk around the fields. The representatives can show newbies everything they need to know about their first time playing. Game rules and regulations are explained. If under 18, parental consent and/or supervision is required.
There are a total of 8 different fields for different games and styles of paintballing. They have the advanced field, which is not for only advanced players. They have the Texas crude, spoolsville (popular for playing capture the flag), Road Rage (vehicles used for bunkers and barriers), The Fort (capture the fort for 12 minutes), The Island, The jungle, and The Zone (blow-up barriers, air ball). There are a variety of different packages to purchase. There is the all day play which is any amount of play more than 3 1/2 hours. The other packages are for a 1/2 hour and 3 1/2 hours or less.
The paintball field asks that no red, yellow, or orange clothing is worn while paintballing. These colors will only be worn by referees. They also have a pro shop that includes everything and anything even the most hardcore paintballer might need. They fix guns and offer a large selection of used and new paintball guns. The pro shop is open Wednesday through Sunday. Fields are only available for play Saturday 9:00 a.m. till 5:30 p.m. and Sunday noon till 5:30 p.m.
Avante Salon & Spa:
Avante Salon & Spa comes packed with the ultimate spa experience. It has a variety of services for women, men, and teens. They have many different services for hair. Some of these services include precision cuts, styles, coloring, perms, moisture treatments, and more. They offer manicures and pedicures with a variety of options for your perfect cure. They also have a variety of skincare services. They have many different options for facials, as well as treatments and peels. They have any type of waxing that a women or man could possibly imagine!
They have make up application, lessons, and photography and bridal make-up. They have permanent cosmetic application services for brows, eyeliner, lipliner, and full lip color. They offer lash and brow tinting for more dramatic eyes. For eyelashes, they have tabbing and extensions as well. The salon and spa has a many different massage options. They have a variety of packages for men, women, and teens. To receive a 15% discount on services and products for a year, joining the Avante Premier Club is required. They hours for Avante Salon & Spa are as follows: Monday 9:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:00 a.m. till 7:00 p.m. Thursday 8:00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m. Avante Salon & Spa is closed on Sundays.
The Dallas Cowboys Stadium:
Mansfield is not more than 25 minutes from the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. The Arlington Cowboys Stadium is an economic win for the city of Arlington. Arlington owns 100% of the Dallas Cowboys Stadium. Along with these things, 16.5 million dollars has been awarded for sports fields and Arlington youth programs. This stadium will help the Arlington economy compete with other cities for much needed tourist dollars. It is located across from the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. THe stadium is opening in Fall 2009.
Six Flags over Texas:
Six Flags over Texas is a major source of entertainment in the Dallas-Ft.Worth area. Mansfield included in this, the park is no more than 25 minutes outside of Mansfield.
Six Flags is a major entertainment attraction for tourists. Six flags if all about family fun. This theme park includes over 100 rides. It also has shows and many other attractions. These shows include concerts at Sam Houston's Lone Star Theater. It also has Western gunfight shows and parades. There are 12 thrill rides among many other rides for children and adults. Many of the rides have height requirements and require adult supervision with children. There are ice cream shops, diners, sit-down restaurants, and snack concessions among many other diverse dining options. There are shopping and games to play for prizes.
Six Flags also includes the Six Flags Hurricane Harbor. Hurricane Harbor is on Lamar Boulevard. Hurricane harbor has the tallest, craziest water rides in Texas! Hours vary for Hurricane Harbor between May and September. Hours vary for Six Flags over Texas between March and December and are subject to change. A trip to Six Flags over Texas or Six Flags Hurricane Harbor is usually $25.00 and over.
