This Restaurant was established in 1935. This is one of Fort Worth's most popular
restaurants. It is run by the Garcia-Lancarte family. It is located in downtown Fort Worth. It is conveniently located by hotels and the cultural district. The venue at Joe T Garcia's features beautiful gardens with a patio. There is outdoor as well as indoor seating. It has many means of shade for those hot Texas nights and rippling waters for relaxation. There popular weekend brunch begins with only certain selections.
 
They have a different menu style that draws all customers back for more. They are open all
days of the week, hours vary. Monday through Thursday they are open from 5:00 p.m. till 10:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday they are open from 11:00 a.m. till 11:00 p.m. Sundays Joe T's is open 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. They offer larger tables for events. They often play host to large groups such as birthday parties or anniversaries.


City Streets:

This club is made up of four parts. There's Atlantis, which is the largest open venue in the
club. This is where the dance floor is located with blue water under and glowing neon paints
all around. Atlantis has a bar to the right of the dance floor. Overlooking the dance floor is an even larger bar. Atlantis has retro music, you can dance and party of just sit with friends for a drink. There is Racks n Balls, which is a gaming area. You can play a game of pool with friends or throw some darts at dart boards. There is a bar in the back, you can chat with friends or just hang out in the pub.
 
There is Cages, which is the only techno/hip-hop club in downtown Fort Worth. It has a
multi-level dance floor. The dance floor is surrounded by metal cages which only ladies can
dance in. There is tempting artwork on the walls. The Cages club as a whole is mainly for the new millennium crowds. There is plenty of room to dance and have fun and a bar on each level! There are booths and tables to sit at when resting. The Blue Monkey Lounge, can you say karaoke? This karaoke bar has a huge selection ranging from original songs to the newest songs on the charts! They can record your solos to show to others. There are plenty sources of seating at the blue monkey lounge.
 
City Streets has many special events throughout the week, every week! Wednesday's are ladies nights, which means no cover for ladies all night. On Thursday They have a Karaoke Contest in the blue monkey lounge.Sunday's are college nights, the only night 18 & up can get in. City Streets is the perfect club experience for adults visiting Fort Worth. The hours of Operation for City Streets goes as follows. Wednesday through Saturday it is open from 7:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. Sundays City Streets is open from 8:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. Valid i.d.'s are required for entrance.

 

Hyena's Comedy Club:

Do you need a good laugh? Hyena's comedy club is the right place for you! You must be 18 and over to gain entrance to Hyena's Comedy Club. You must be 21 and older to purchase
alcoholic beverages. There is an admission charge of $10.00 per person. Two items at
minimum must be purchased per person in the showroom. The club recommends spending
an additional $5.00 is required for preferred seating. This is recommended in order to get the best seats possible.
 
Every Thursday night they host The Best of Texas Comedy Night. The club hosts many comedians from the state of Texas as well as comedians not from Texas. They have hypnotists, comedians, and hilarious storytellers. Friday shows are at 8:30 and 10:00 p.m. Saturday Shows are at 8:00 and 10:30 p.m. They are located in downtown Fort Worth. They are just 2 blocks south of Sundance Square.

Fort Worth Zoo:

This zoo started out with very few animals. It has evolved since then and become the oldest zoo in Texas. The FOrt Worth Zoo was founded in 1909. The Fort Worth zoo is owned and operated by the City of Fort Worth. There are a total of 435 species in the Fort Worth Zoo. They play host to catered picnics and parties. They have educational meeting rooms available for rent with the option of catered food and a live animal presentation. The zoo has many awesome features. They have the Lone Mining Company Movie House, a Petting Corral or Petting zoo. They have a rock climbing wall also known as the Tasmanian Tower. There is a train that is available for one way tickets or all day.
 
The zoo has many different exhibits with many different species. A few of these exhibits are so-called as follows. The World of Primates, Asian Falls(asian elephants), Cheetahs, Australian Outback/Great Barrier Reef, as well as many others! The Zoo is open 365 days of the year. From February 16 through October 17, 10 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The Have Special extended weekend hours for Saturday's and Sunday's between March 29 and October 19, these are 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. October 20 through February 15 the hours are 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Parking is $5.00 per vehicle. There are admission fees for adults, children (3-12), and senior citizens (65 and over). Adults pay $10.50, children (3-12) pay $8.00, and Seniors(65 and over) pay $7.00. Toddlers ages 2 and under get in for free!

Cowtown Coliseum:

Cowtown is home to the infamous Stockyards Championship Rodeo! The cowtown Coliseum was built in 1908. This was the first indoor rodeo. They hold shows every Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m. This is one of the best rodeos around Texas!They also have Pawnee Bill's Wild West show. This is a reenactment of the original show. This show features trick roping,riding, shooting, and cowboy songs. It is a very entertaining look at the storied past.
 
Tickets vary with preferred seating. General admission for adults, children(3-12) and senior citizens(60 and over) goes as follows. Adult general admission is $15.00, Children(3-12) general admission is $10.00, Senior Citizens(60 and over) general admission is $12.50. There is also VIP club seating and Reserved Box Seats which are both $20.00 per person.

Sundance Square:

Six Flags is a major entertainment attraction for tourists. Six flags if all about family fun. This theme park includes over 100 rides. It also has shows and many other attractions. These shows include concerts at Sam Houston's Lone Star Theater. It also has Western gunfight shows and parades. There are 12 thrill rides among many other rides for children and adults. Many of the rides have height requirements and require adult supervision with children. There are ice cream shops, diners, sit-down restaurants, and snack concessions among many other diverse dining options. There are shopping and games to play for prizes.
 
Six Flags also includes the Six Flags Hurricane Harbor. Hurricane Harbor is on Lamar Boulevard. Hurricane harbor has the tallest, craziest water rides in Texas! Hours vary for Hurricane Harbor between May and September. Hours vary for Six Flags over Texas between March and December and are subject to change. A trip to Six Flags over Texas or Six Flags Hurricane Harbor is usually $25.00 and over.
